Skyfire began life on Cybertron, working with fellow scientist Starscream. He eventually had a falling out with Starscream in spite of their close friendship due to his partner's allegiance to the decepticons, a faction that he felt was more suited to the destruction and devastation of life as opposed to the research of it. This, having happened, he joined the auobots, now enemy to the decepticon alliance.

Personality

Skyfire is a quiet, peaceful type. Often attempting to negotiate ways to avoid fighting, yet, is still quite unafraid of getting his hands dirty for when the situation calls for it (or even sometimes when it doesn't). He has little loyalty to 'friends', but has an unwavering belief that all creatures have a right to a free, happy and undisrupted life.

Skyfire is by far the fastest of all the autobots in his alt. mode. His speed allows him to fly halfway around the world in a short thirty minutes - but has the fuel capacity to allow interstellar travel. Unfortunately however, his advanced technology does make him more prone to mechanical failure. His weaponry consists of two particle beam cannons and heat seeking photon missiles in shuttle mode, with a double barrelled particle beam cannon in robot mode. As an explorer, he has extra sensors to assist him in his travels. Atmospheric composition, better optics, galactic maps etc. However, due to nine million years of being frozen, his files are somewhat outdated.
